RUNWELL is based in the historic manufacturing region of Tsubamesanjo in Niigata Prefecture, an area with more than 400 years of metalworking heritage. Known for its dense network of skilled small and medium-sized manufacturers, the region brings together specialists in materials, metal fabrication, finishing, and tool production. RUNWELL works closely with this local ecosystem, sourcing its forging materials from nearby foundries within the Tsubamesanjo region, something unheard of in the bike industry. These products live to their moto, "Absolutely Made in Japan".
