Machine Oil is the fastest option however it is more prone to wear and require re-application every few months to ensure proper lubrication. Our High Tack Race Oil is a specialist blend with a viscosity modifier to ensure the oil remains in contact under extreme load, it's less prone to wear and is our favourite option. The Phil Wood Tenacious Oil is a very similar blend to our High Tack Race Oil, and is made in the USA by Phil Wood. The Lightweight Grease is our second favourite option as it lubricates best and requires much less maintenance than other options. Lastly, our Premium grease is corrosion resistant grease with amazing lubrication properties and low resistance. Some factory bearings have heavy 2RS (Two Rubber Seals) which make contact on the inner and outer race. For pure velodrome usage, we can trim the inner seal to remove contact, reducing friction whilst still providing 90% coverage from the outside elements. We recommend the second option if you're chasing longevity and protection.
