Sorry, I'm in a bit of a cycling activist mode at the moment. Brisbane is still not a good city for cyclists, too many drivers still think they own the road, don't even look when thy turn or open their door, police that take the effort to turn around and fine me for riding my small bmx bike stepfoots on the footpath without a helmet. There is even a Facebook group focussed on putting cyclists in a bad light. And meanwhile the roads here are getting more and more congested.
I'm glad someone took the effort to make this documentary. “For cars owners, now it’s time to share. You own a car, not the street. The street belongs to all of us.” With the use of startling statistics and powerful imagery, the struggle for cyclists among motorists is exposed in this 90-minute documentary.
