How do I order from the website?

There are two ways to use the webshop. You can create/log into an account to purchase goods or checkout directly as a guest. If you create an account, your details will be saved and recalled each time they are needed. As a guest you will need to supply your details each time a purchase is made.

I have already placed and online order. Can I add something extra?

If you forget to add something to your order, let us know ASAP so we can hold your order. Create a new order with the forgotten item/s and we will combine them all as one order and ship.

Is this item in stock?

The webshop is updated in real time which means that if an item is listed as not in stock then we will have to order the item in. The only items not in stock that you will be able to check out are the custom painted Colossi frames.

Will my credit/debit card be charged immediately?

The processing of payments is done live, for both credit cards and paypal purchases. This means that as soon as payment is processed, you will be charged.

I want to place an order online and pick up in store. How do I do this?

Prior to checkout, select the pick-up instore option. Your items will be packed and held for you to pick up instore. We will allow 7 days for you to collect your product from the store, unless you arrange otherwise. 


When will my item be shipped?

Your item will be shipped within 48hours of your order being finalised and your payment being confirmed. In the event that this cannot be done due to a public holiday or store opening hours, it will be shipped on the next business day.

Can I track my shipment?

Shipping of small parts will be primarily through australia post, either via regular or express post pre paid bags. These bags come with a tracking number which can be sent upon request. For larger items we use a range of courier companies to obtain the cheapest rate for the customer. All items sent through couriers are able to be tracked with a consignment number which can be sent upon request.

How long does shipping take?

Australian Shipping times will usually be between 2 - 7 business days, depending on your location within Australia. International orders will be dependant on chosen courier and location.

Express shipping is an option, we ask that you contact us directly prior to ordering if you require overnight express shipping.

I ordered a complete bike? How is it packed and how do I assemble it?

A complete bike will be packed with the front wheel, stem, bars and brake unfitted. All components will be packed with ample padding so that damage will not occur in normal transit. It is recommended that reassembly be done by a bicycle mechanic so as to ensure safe operation. Gear can not be held liable for damage or injury incurred resulting from a bike that has not been completely assembled in our store, and leaving in this complete state.

Please Note: If you receive a package which is visually damaged or opened insist that this is noted with the carrier before signing for your order.

We do ship internationally, small parts will be sent through Australia Post. Due to limitations on large parcel’s, complete bikes and framesets will need to be sent via an international courier.


How do I know if my parts are compatible?

You dont, we do. Please ask if you are not unsure of any parts compatibility.

What size should I be riding?

How long is a piece of string. In all seriousness though, there are sizing guidelines which we use to guide customers into choosing their correct size. A good resource to start with is to complete the Competitive Cyclist Bike Fit Calculator.


How do I order a Colossi?

Browse the online store and see the frame we have got in stock, if you don't see anything you like then we can simply order one in for you. Custom single colour paint and your choice of decal is all inclusive when order a Colossi. Custom or stock production frame, it all starts with reading this FAQ and getting in touch with us via email.

What information do we need to process an order?

To process an order we need a few things. 1. Frame Size - 2. Paint - 3. Decals - 4. Extras - 5. Deposit. When beginning the process if you are unsure of any of the above, we can help out. But generally speaking to process the order in a speedy manner and get your order moving along it's best to have these details thought out.

You can chooce any pantone colour, so you can use various pantone charts on the internet and google images to source these. Matte, gloss and satin finishes are all available. Decals can be found via the Colossi Flickr page. You can choose a little or as many a you wish. Custom decals are also available but up charges will be incurred. Please don't hesitate to ask if you want something custom. If you need extra braze ons for brakes, bottle cage mounts, racks etc. then please let us know. Colossi is able to prepare your production frames with extras if needed. Additional braze ons will incur an up charge and these start at $25 and go up from there.

Once we have your order ready to process with Colossi, we will take a non-refundable 50% deposit for your order. The final payment is to be made upon pick up/delivery of your new Colossi.

I ordered a Colossi stock frame with custom paint. How long will this take?

Due to the nature of ordering custom paint and the shipping schedule which we run off, custom painted stock Colossi frames lead time are set at 6-8 weeks* + shipping. The time frame starts from the confirmation of the paint design. (* dependent on factory schedule in regards to national holidays and shipping)

I ordered a Colossi custom frame with custom paint. How long will this take?

A custom frame is not something that should be rushed, sit back, relax and enjoy the process. If everything moves along fairly smoothly you're looking at about 12 weeks. But generally longer as there is usually some back and forth with revisions of the drawings before final confirmation.

Do you ship Colossi frames interstate? 

We sure do. We are more then happy to install parts such a headset or bottom brackets prior to shipping. This will make your job easier once you take delivery of your new frame.
